Pottery Day Taster Session- Hand building and Throwing
Keen to learn more about ceramics but don’t know where to start? Join Charlotte for a full-day workshop in her pottery studio!
Introduction to pottery covers hand-building techniques such as slabbing. You’ll also learn more about applying patterns and texture to the clay surface and try throwing on the wheel. We finish the day with decorating our pots using coloured slip techniques.
What you need to know:
• Price: £100 per person
• Maximum of 6 people
• The workshop runs from 10-4pm, with an hour for lunch
• All materials and light refreshments are included (please advise of any allergies when booking)
• Please note: lunch is not included, but there is a variety of lovely shops and cafes in Poole for you to explore
• All work will be dried, fired and ready to collect at a later date
