Pottery Throwing Masterclass

Whether you’re completely new to the pottery wheel or just want to improve your skills, this session is a great way to get to grips with clay on the wheel.

You will learn the fundamentals to throwing o the wheel starting with preparing your clay and then moving onto to centring and creating cylinders . You will have time to practise these techniques before moving onto shaping forms in the afternoon concentrating on bellying out and necking in.

What you need to know:

• Maximum of 4 students

• £180 each inc all materials and firing. Each students will keep 3 pieces each and choose form the studio glazes.

• The workshop runs from 10am to 4pm with an hour for lunch

• All work will be dried, fired and ready to collect at a later date

Please note: lunch is not included, but there is a variety of lovely shops and cafes in Poole for you to explore
